MANILA -- The Quezon City Countdown Concert rocked the new year with a star-studded line-up headlined by Ely Buendia. 

Other artists that thrilled the crowd that gathered at the Quezon Memorial Circle were Ben&Ben, Kamikazee, Gloc-9, Kean Cipriano, The Juans, and Kenaniah, among others. 

According to some concert attendees, they felt a renewed sense of confidence and excitement for the new year when their hearts are full of happiness and free from worries. 

“Dapat pag new year masaya! Celebrating kasi what happened to you,” Maya, who was among the crowd, said. 

“Nawawala stress namin! Sobrang saya,” Ana, another concertgoer, added. 

The countdown, which was hosted by Uma Rojo, MC and Lassy, Negi, and CJ Villavicencio, ended with a grand fireworks display at the stroke of midnight.
