The video features Mark and Young-ji performing the briskly rap-heavy track across various sets, culminating in a party-like atmosphere as they repeatedly deliver the closing line, "I'm so curious."

The song takes its title from the Russian term "fraktsiya," which translates to "infiltrator" and serves as a metaphor for the two artists' "flexibility" in the competitive music industry, according to a report by the Korea JoongAng Daily.

"Fraktsiya" follows Mark's previous single, "200," released in May. The track also arrives shortly after label SM Entertainment announced the postponement of Mark's solo album release.

Mark was initially set to put out an album in February 2025, but the release was reportedly postponed to April of the same year to ensure better quality.

Mark was part of the first batch of NCT's over 20 members to debut in 2016 with the single "The 7th Sense." He is a member of the sub-units NCT 127 and NCT Dream, and a part of the K-pop supergroup SuperM.

Meanwhile, Young-ji is known for winning the third season of "High School Rapper" and 11th season of "Show Me the Money," as well as the host of the YouTube talk show "Not Much Prepared."

Earlier this year, Young-ji topped Korean music charts with her single "Small Girl," which features Doh Kyung-soo of the boy group EXO.
