Prime Video has unveiled the trailer for its highly anticipated series Good Boy, offering a glimpse of the journey of a team of former Olympic athletes who join forces to fight crime.

Starring Park Bo-gum and Kim So-hyun, the trailer teases the story’s unique premise: former sports heroes-turned-underdogs, now reclaiming purpose through justice. "Once glorious heroes now just underdogs the world left behind," the trailer stated. "[They] hunt down the villains hiding behind human faces, carrying the fire of their glory days."

A standout moment in the trailer features Bo-gum’s character delivering a powerful line: "Until you've crushed your opponent, the round isn't over."

Fans online were quick to express their excitement about the series.

Good Boy follows a group of Olympic medalists who, after facing financial struggles, injuries, and the abrupt end of their careers, transition into law enforcement through a special government program. Together, they form the "Olympics Avengers," using their athletic prowess to take on violent crimes and expose hidden evils as per previous report by Naver as translated by Soompi.

Bo-gum takes on the role of Yoon Dong-joo, a former national boxing champion and Olympic gold medalist. After his sports career comes to an end, he enlists in the Special Violent Crime Unit, where he channels his combat skills into fighting for justice.

Meanwhile, So-hyun plays Ji Han-na, a former Olympic shooting gold medalist widely known as the "shooting goddess." A life-altering incident forces her to leave her athletic career behind and pursue a new path as a police officer. Although calm and collected on the outside, Han-na is known for her straightforward and sincere nature, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

Joining them in the cast are Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-suk, who round out the elite team of athlete-turned-cops.

Good Boy is set to premiere on Prime Video on May 31.
