"Dear Hongrang," a South Korean drama starring Lee Jae-wook and Jo Bo-ah, is set to stream on Netflix beginning May 16, the streamer said Thursday.

On YouTube, the platform released a trailer for the show, which opens with the disappearance of the titular character as a child.

More than a decade later, a grown man (played by Lee Jae-wook) returns to the influential Sim merchant household, introducing himself as Hongrang.

However, Hongrang's half-sister Jae-yi (Bo-ah) suspects him of being an impostor, heightening tensions between the two, as seen in the trailer.

"As these characters become embroiled in mystery, anticipation builds for what 'Dear Hongrang' has in store for fans of mystery, romance, and period dramas alike," Netflix said in a press release.

Lee Jae-wook is best known for starring in the fantasy period drama "Alchemy of Souls," while Bo-ah's past shows include "Tale of the Nine Tailed," "Military Prosecutor Doberman," and "Destined With You."

Aside from the two leads, "Dear Hongrang" also stars Jung Ga-ram ("Love Alarm"), Uhm Ji-won ("Little Women"), Park Byung-eun ("Kingdom" and "The Bequeathed"), and Kim Jae-wook ("Her Private Life" and "Melo Movie.")
