EXCLUSIVE: Jane Oineza looks back on her Pinoy Big Brother experience: ‘Kuya, miss ko na bahay mo’

It was one of the highlights of Jane Oineza’s career to be part of the iconic reality show Pinoy Big Brother. In 2014, Jane joined Pinoy Big Brother: All In and finished as the third big placer.

Jane’s PBB journey was filled with many highs and lows, but during an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, the actress revealed that she enjoyed her overall experience inside the house.

“Lahat memorable! Kasi yung overall experience being inside, yung mga tasks, mga challenges na nalagpasan namin, yung mga bonds, friendship na nabuo. I think it's yung overall experience of being inside,” Jane shared.

The Kapamilya actress also candidly shared how much she truly misses Big Brother and the blue and yellow house.

“Also, (‘yung experience na) makilala si kuya, maka-bonding at maka-chika si kuya. Medyo namimiss ko na nga si kuya. So, kuya, bakit walang invite? Miss ko na bahay mo,” she jokingly teased.

Meanwhile, Jane also offered some advice to the current batch of celebrity housemates.

"Sa akin, magpakatotoo ka lang. Magpakatotoo ka sa sarili mo at sa mga tao sa paligid mo. Kasi meron at meron namang masasabi sa atin at hindi naman lahat ma-please natin. So ang mahalaga ay maging totoo tayo sa sarili natin. And as long as malinis din yung intention natin. Yun, yun yung mahalaga,” she pointed out.

Jane was one of the most memorable housemates of her season, having many iconic moments, including winning an Instasave task despite not being helped by any of her fellow housemates. This victory allowed her to be removed from the nominees list for eviction that week.

During her season, regular, celebrity, and teen housemates were mixed inside the house for the first time in Pinoy Big Brother history. Their batch produced some of today’s most notable celebrities, including Joshua Garcia, Maris Racal, Axel Torres, and the big winner of their batch, actor-model Daniel Matsunaga.

After her reality show stint, Jane went on to star in various Kapamilya series, including Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita in 2015, Los Bastardos in 2018, The Broken Marriage Vow in 2022, and her most recent project, Nag-aapoy na Damdamin, which ran from 2023 to 2024.
