Filipino-American singer Mikaela Bautista has passed the audition round of "American Idol" season 23.

Bautista performed Whitney Houston's “Saving All My Love for You,” which gave her two yesses from judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. With two votes, Bautista advanced to Hollywood Week.

However, Bautista received a "no" vote from judge Carrie Underwood, who won the singing competition in 2005.

But Underwood changed her vote after the family of Bautista entered to congratulate her. Bautista wowed Underwood with her impromptu duet of the song 'The Prayer" with her father, Vhen.

"Can I change my judgment? I would like to strike my previous -- you have 3 yesses," Underwood told Bautista.

Hosted by  Ryan Seacrest, the newest season of "American Idol" airs Sundays on ABC.
