Netflix shares first glimpse of Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung’s characters in new K-Drama

Netflix has released the first look at Kim Seon-ho's new K-drama with Go Youn-jung.

The two stars are set to headline the upcoming series Can This Love Be Translated?

In the stills released by the streaming giant, fans get a first glimpse of Seon-ho and Youn-jung's characters in the series.

The K-Drama follows the story of "a multilingual translator works for a global celebrity, and an unexpected romance blossoms while their professional relationship takes unpredictable and heartwarming turns in this romantic comedy," as per Netflix.

Seon-ho portrays Ju Ho-jin, a gifted polyglot proficient in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, and Italian. Meanwhile, Go Youn-jung takes on the role of Cha Mu-hee, a lively and charismatic global top celebrity.

Joining the cast are Sota Fukushi and Choi Woo-sung.

The series is written by the Hong Sisters and directed by Yoo Young-eun.

Netflix also announced that Can This Love Be Translated? is set to be released in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Seon-ho last starred in a K-Drama in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha in 2021. Other series of the actor included Run On in 2021, Start-Up in 2020, Find Me in Your Memory in 2020, and Welcome to Waikiki 2 in 2019, among others.

The actor staged his latest fan meeting in the Philippines back in April 2024.

Seon-ho made his first visit to Manila in January 2023 for his first fan meet in the Philippines. He later returned in December for another event.

"There's one thing I want to tell you: Thank you so much for always being with me during the hard times, even in the good times. You're always there for me and that is big love," he said at a jam-packed Mall of Asia Arena in his first fan meeting in the Philippines back in January 2023.

Meanwhile, among the latest series of Youn-jung include Light Shop in 2024, Death's Game in 2023, Alchemy of Souls in 2023, and Moving in 2023.
