"Revelations," a South Korean thriller film directed by Yeon Sang-ho of the hit zombie movie "Train to Busan," is set to premiere on Netflix this March.

In a press release, the streaming giant said "Revelations" would be available for viewing on its platform beginning March 21.

The film follows the tangled lives of a pastor who believes he is given a divine mission to punish the culprit behind a missing-person case, and a detective tormented by visions of her deceased sister.

Actor Ryu Jun-yeol, known for his roles in "Reply 1988" and "The 8 Show," portrays Min-chan, a pastor who embarks on a pursuit of a criminal following a divine revelation related to the disappearance of a young churchgoer.

Shin Hyun-been, who starred in "Hospital Playlist" and "Reborn Rich," takes on the role of detective Yeon-hui, who is assigned to the missing-person case and suspects something suspicious between Min-chan and the culprit.

Meanwhile, Shin Min-jae plays Kwon Yang-rae, the ex-convict who is pursued by Min-chan after coincidentally visiting his church.

The film is directed by Yeon Sang-ho, best known for "Train to Busan," as well as other dark-toned and thriller shows such as "Hellbound," "The Bequeathed," and "Parasyte: The Grey."

In this project, Yeon reunites with writer Choi Gyu-seok, whom he collaborated with in "Hellbound."

Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón, whose works include "Roma" and "Gravity," participated as executive producer of the film.
