Pictorial of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino.QUEZON CITY — Star Cinema announced Saturday that the much-anticipated romantic comedy film "My Love Will Make You Disappear", starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, will now hit theaters nationwide starting March 26.

The progress comes after fans of KimPau expressed worry on the movie's official playdate, as the film was supposedly scheduled to be shown just two days before the Valentine's Day. Several supporters living outside the country have reportedly booked flights for the expected February release.

In a statement, the production company said the move was due to expansion opportunities in the North American market.

"The move comes in light of new developments and exciting opportunities to expand into the North American market. We are happy to share that global theatrical distributor Abramorama and award-winning international entertainment marketing firm Amorette Jones Media Consulting are collaborating again with Star Cinema," Star Cinema's announcement read.

Over the past months, both the A-list actors and their millions of fans worldwide already shared their excitement for the loveteam's first big-screen project after its teaser was shown in ABS-CBN's Christmas Special and during the screening of Metro Manila Film Festival entry "And the Breadwinner is…".
