With 2024 coming to an end, PUSH compiled some of the South Korean dramas that gave the fans various emotions–– from kilig to becoming an emotional mess. These K-Dramas surely hit the right spot for all of us trying to get by in our everyday lives.


Lovely Runner

Where to watch: Viu and Netflix

Chosen by Time Magazine as the best K-Drama this 2024, Lovely Runner tells the story of Ryu Sun-jae (played by Byeon Woo-seok) and Im Sol (portrayed by Kim Hye-yoon). This K-Drama checks out everything from the list–– from kilig to an emotional roller coaster. 


Queen of Tears

This 2024 K-Drama became the highest-rated tvN series–– surpassing the hit show, Crash Landing on You. It revolves around the marriage of Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won) and Baek Hyun-woo (portrayed by Kim Soo-hyun) and how they will overcome the challenges together. 


Marry My Husband

Where to watch: Prime

If revenge coming from a main character is something you enjoy, this K-Drama is the perfect fit for you. Marry My Husband gives that satisfaction and uplifts the mood every time Park Min-young’s character gets back at those who have wronged her in her past life. 


The Judge from Hell

Where to watch: Netflix

One of Park Shin-hye’s first K-Dramas after giving birth, The Judge from Hell is another show that leaves viewers wanting for more when it comes to achieving justice. Park Shin-hye is joined by other talented actors such as Kim Jae-young and Kim Ah-young, among others.

Love in the Big City

One of the most trending K-Dramas of this year for its controversial plot, Love in the Big City talks about a gay man’s journey in life. Starring Nam Yoon-su, Jin Ho-eun, Kwon Hyuk, and Na Hyun-woo, among others, this 2024 K-Drama is a slice of life that everyone could relate to.


A Shop for Killers

Another action-packed K-Drama released in 2024, A Shop for Killers became one of the most loved dramas for the year. The story is about Jeong Ji-an (played by Kim Hye-jun) who becomes the target of killers due to her uncle Jeong Jin-man (played by Lee Dong-wook) who died unexpectedly. 


Mr. Plankton

One of the romantic-comedy dramas that made its mark this year was Mr. Plankton. It tells the story of Jae-mi (played by Lee Yoo-mi) and Hae-jo (portrayed by Woo Do-hwan) and how they navigate through life as the world’s unluckiest woman and a product of an incorrect artificial insemination, respectively. 


Lightshop Keeper

Despite being spooked out in the first three episodes, Lightshop Keeper definitely is one of the good ones. The successful run of the eight episodes showcased the beauty of life and how one should cherish it despite the challenges they face.


Doctor Slump

Park Shin-hye has been busy this year as she starred in Doctor Slump alongside Park Hyung-sik. The K-Drama tells the story of two promising doctors and how they fell into a slump due to circumstances.

If there’s anything that Love Next Door gave this year, it’s the undeniable chemistry of Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min. The story of this K-Drama is a light and easy one that everyone could binge the whole series in one go.
