MANILA --  Kapamilya Actor McCoy de Leon walked solo at the red carpet of ABS-CBN Ball 2025 on Friday.

De Leon said he's just thankful to be part of the gathering of the biggest stars as he expressed his gratitude to ABS-CBN and his "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" family. 

"Siyempre malaking bagay na nandito pa rin. Hindi lahat nang nakasabayan ko at mga artista ngayon ay nagkakaroon ng ganitong opportunity. Very thankful ako sa work ko ngayon, sa 'Batang Quiapo' family. Alam ko naman sila ang rason kung bakit ako ngayon nandito. At sa lahat nang opportunity na ibinigay sa akin ng ABS-CBN maraming-maraming salamat talaga, gumanda ang buhay ko talaga sa totoo lang, nagkaroon ako ng masayang trabaho," de Leon said.

Asked owhat makes him proudly Kapamilya, de Leon said: "Nakaka-proud bilang Kapamilya ay 'yung hindi siya nagbabago. Nandoon 'yung puso, kaya 'yung meaning talaga ng pamilya mararamdaman mo rito walang halong bola, aalagaan ka nila magkakaroon ka ng opportunity at magkakaroon ka ng pamumuhay rito na masaya."

De Leon, one of the stars of "Batang Quiapo," just starred in the movie "In Thy Name."  

The 2025 ABS-CBN Ball, dubbed as “Brighter Together,” celebrates the artists, employees, and industry partners who continue to shape ABS-CBN's journey as a global storytelling company. 

It also champions greater cause as a portion of the proceeds will help support ABS-CBN Foundation’s advocacies.
