MANILA --  Celebrity power couple Coco Martin and Julia Montes officially opened the red carpet event of the ABS-CBN Ball 2025, the much-anticipated gathering of the biggest artists and industry leaders on Friday at Solaire Resort North.  

"Siyempre everytime na may ganitong gathering ito 'yung time na maka-bonding mo mga kaibigan mo, mga boss natin, at opportunity para makapagkumustahan at makapag-mingle. Ngayon excited lahat dahil last year wala tayong Ball eh and then ngayon nandito ulit tayo para magsama-sama," Martin said.

"Of course super happy at lahat tayo nilu-look forward ang araw na ito. At tama ang tagline ng ABC-CBN ngayon 'Brighter Together.' We are brighter together all Kapamilyas, so looking forward," Montes said.

Asked what makes them proudly Kapamilyas, Martin said: "Siyempre lahat ng mga proyekto natin ay pinaghihirapan at pinag-iisipan at napaparamdam natin na ano man 'yung nangyari sa atin sa ABS-CBN, sa buong bansa, nandito tayo nagtitipon-tipon, makikita mo ang unity, nagmamahalan, nagsusuportahan, kaya nakaka-proud maging Kapamilya."

"Siguro tama ang tawag sa atin Kapamilya kasi tayo through thick and thin, kahit anong pagsubok lahat tayo matibay kung sama-sama," added Montes.

The couple is looking foward to enjoy the special night with their fellow Kapamilyas.

"Siguro bukod sa reunion ay huwag natin kakalimutan na ito ay for a cause, this night is really for a cause at ang sarap na maging parte noon," Montes said.

Currently, Martin is busy with the hit action drama "FPJ's Batang Quiapo," while Montes is the lead star of hit primetime series "Saving Grace: The Untold Story."

The 2025 ABS-CBN Ball, dubbed as “Brighter Together,” celebrates the artists, employees, and industry partners who continue to shape ABS-CBN's journey as a global storytelling company. 

It also champions greater cause as a portion of the proceeds will help support ABS-CBN Foundation’s advocacies.

First held in 2006 as the Star Magic Ball, the annual celebration and charity event evolved into the more encompassing ABS-CBN Ball in 2018 to include Kapamilya artists from other management groups.

In 2023, the ABS-CBN Ball made a comeback after a brief hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and after the network was forced off free television when Congress did not renew its broadcast franchise in mid-2020.
