James Reid thrills fans with new projects, kicks off summer in style

Kapamilya star James Reid has a lot to offer his devoted fans, beginning with the release of his "Your Boy" live performance on his YouTube channel, which showcased his cool style and easy-to-listen voice.

The multi-talented Reid remains dedicated to his profession as an artist, from singing to acting, producing, and attending fashion shows, and he loves every project that comes his way.

When asked when his fans will see him return on television and in movies, Reid told ABS-CBN News: “I’m always looking for projects that push boundaries and allow me to express myself in new ways. There’s definitely something exciting on the horizon. Stay tuned.”

The A-list star was also just named the newest face of Penshoppe for its "Brighter Days Ahead" campaign, which promises to brighten the average Filipino's day with accessible fashion.

Reid is one of his generation's most fashionable artists, as seen in the fashion shows he has attended both locally and globally. His fashion sense is described as cool, refined, and open to pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable to wear.

“Over time, my style has evolved to be more refined while still staying true to what feels authentic. I’m drawn to clean silhouettes and pieces that make a statement without trying too hard. Even at home, I like to keep things polished — sometimes, a well-cut shirt or a sleek pair of lounge pants is all you need to feel put together,” he shared with ABS-CBN News.

On joining Penshoppe, Reid said: “I'm really excited to officially be part of the Penshoppe family. I've always admired the brand's cool, effortless style and how they keep things fresh and accessible. [The brand] is a true Filipino staple, and I'm excited to collaborate with them on some awesome projects. I can't wait to see what we come up with together.”

It reflects not only our exciting marketing plans-such as impactful collaborations, major events, and brand activations-but also the positive, forward-thinking direction we're taking as a brand,” shared Donnie Manaloto, the brand’s communications head.

Manaloto added, “With this campaign, we're ready to amplify our presence and continue to engage our customers with bold and vibrant experiences throughout 2025.”

The collection also addresses the consumer's desire for trendy and comfortable apparel for a fast-paced lifestyle, bringing a sense of renewal to fashion. It addresses the usual problem of having nothing to wear on summer vacations and other events.

In addition, this line, made of soft, breathable fabrics in comfortable yet fashionable designs, invites everyone to calm down, recharge, and celebrate minor wins. It's not just about looking well; it's also about feeling good, being present, and acknowledging the path to better days ahead.

In true Reid fashion, he stated that he intends to add color or texture to his white tees and relaxed shorts this summer with accessories.

“Summer is all about lightweight layers and effortless style. I can’t live without crisp white tees, relaxed shorts. I also like adding a pop of color or texture with accessories. It’s an easy way to elevate a simple look,” he told ABS-CBN News.
