Some of the best names in the Philippine hip-hop industry are set to perform today, February 21st, at the 'OPM Series: Hip Hop Fest' happening at SM North EDSA Sky Dome.

The stellar list includes rapper, singer, and songwriter Al James, known for hits like "Pa-umaga," "Ngayong Gabi," "Atin-atin Lang," and "Latina."

This isn’t Al James’ first time performing at a music festival, having previously graced events like Fusion 2023, the Aurora Music Festival in 2022, and more.

Just recently, the rapper shared on his social media his latest achievement—being named Top 9 Local Artist of the Year on the The Official Philippines Chart.

Just last year, Al James collaborated with P-pop sensation SB19 member Josh Cullen for the song "Yoko Na," an R&B track about the unspoken words in a failing relationship.

As of this writing, Al James has 3.8 million monthly listeners on the streaming platform Spotify.

Another popular name in the hip-hop scene in the lineup is Ron Henley, known for hits like "Biglang Liko," "Hagdan," and "Venus." He has over 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Also joining the music festival is Loonie, known for hits like "Balewala," "Tugmang Preso," and his super popular track "Tao Lang," which has over 27 million streams.

Other names in the lineup include "Lakabog" hitmaker Illest Morena, who now has over 1.7 million monthly listeners on the music platform, and is behind songs like "Faded (Raw)" and "Slow Burn."

OPM Series: Hip Hop Fest is presented by SM Fandom, a campaign by SM North EDSA that focuses on bringing together community groups, fanbases, and licensees for fun and exclusive events.

For those looking to join the event at the last minute, fans can get passes by downloading the SM Malls Online app from the App Store or Google Play, then uploading a photo of a ₱1,500 receipt from any SM North EDSA or SM Cherry Congressional store.
