GMG Productions and Stages have revealed that they will be staging Come From Away in Manila as part of their 2025 offering. It will be held at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater and will run for a strictly limited season from June 6 to 29, 2025.

Come From Away is a true story about the generosity of the residents of a small town who chose to open their doors to 7,000 airline passengers who found themselves unexpectedly grounded in the aftermath of the 9/11 crisis.

The roster includes Philippine theater personalities such as Cathy Azanza-Dy, Caisa Borromeo, Garrett Bolden, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, Becca Coates, Steven Cadd, Mayen Cadd, Rycharde Everley, Topper Fabregas, Sheila Francisco, Carla Guevara Laforteza, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Gian Magdangal, George Schulze, and Chino Veguillas.

Come From Away has gained multiple awards, including the Tony Award for Best Direction. It also won the Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Best Theatre Choreography, Best Sound Design, and Outstanding Achievement in Music, as well as the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Book of a Musical.

Leading the creatives is Michael Williams as Director and Rony Fortich as Musical Director.

Joining them are Dephine Buencamino as Choreographer, Harry Tabner as Lighting Designer, Luke Swaffield as Sound Designer, Kayla Teodoro as Production Designer, Myrene Santos as Hair and Makeup Designer, Hershee Tatiado as Costume Designer, and Joel Goldes as the dialect coach from the original Broadway production.
