Dia Mate has arrived in Bolivia to represent the Philippines in the Latina-dominated Reina Hispanoamericana pageant.

The Filipina beauty queen also gave her followers a tour of her hotel room, saying: "I am so excited to be here for the next 3 weeks in Bolivia and I can't wait to start my reign and journey."

Mate left Manila last January 18 after her send-off party which was attended by her friends and mentors. She made a brief stop in Los Angeles before heading to Bolivia.

Mate is aiming for the Philippines' second Reina Hispanoamericana crown, after Winwyn Marquez in 2017.
