<p>Filipino Broadway star Lea Salonga participated in this year&#x27;s Macy&#x27;s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.</p><p>Lea performed &quot;Sing&quot; aboard the float of <em>Sesame Street</em> together with the cast of the show during the parade.</p><p>&quot;No, it wasn’t a sunny day, and it would’ve been great if the clouds were swept away, but today’s @macys Thanksgiving Day Parade was still such a wonderful highlight!&quot; the singer posted on her Instagram page.</p><p>The Tony Award-winning singer expressed her gratitude to<em> Sesame Street</em> for making her part of the show&#x27;s float. </p><p>&quot;Thank you, @sesamestreet, this was truly very special, and thank you for plastering the biggest smile on my child’s face. What an awesome combo!&quot; another fan said.</p><p>Lea previously made a guest appearance in <em>Sesame Street </em>back in 1993.</p><p>Lea was fresh from the success of the Manila leg of her <em>Stage, Screen and Everything In Between </em>concert.
