Super Junior member Kyuhyun made sure to tease his Filipino fans about the possibility of having a concert in the country with the rest of the members soon. The South Korean boy group is about to celebrate their 20th anniversary this year and fans have been looking forward to the group’s plans such as album releases and concerts.

Kyuhyun was in the Philippines last April 5 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City to celebrate his 10th anniversary as a solo artist. His concert in the country was the last stop and was made possible by local concert promoter L-Squared Productions.

“It’s really sad, really really sad. To everyone who’s been with me for the past four months, thank you so much,” he shared.

Kyuhyun then gave his fans a glimmer of hope as he shared the upcoming 20th anniversary of his boy group.

“To wrap this up, the 20th anniversary of Super Junior is coming,” he teased.

Despite pleas of his fans present at the concert about another Super Junior concert, he couldn’t promise them anything as he shared that the decision isn’t with him but the group’s label, SM Entertainment.

“I don’t know–– the authority for the decision making is with SM [Entertainment]. When I go to Korea, I’ll talk to them because the Philippines is waiting for us,” he expressed.

Despite making no promises, Kyuhyun assured that he will try his best to come back with the members but if that couldn’t be possible, he would return by himself.

“If I come back to the Philippines with all the members, I hope we’ll see each other again as well… If and only if I would not be able to come here with the members, I will come here all by myself again,” he shared.

During his concert, the South Korean singer performed a Super Junior medley which consisted of some of their hit songs throughout the years such as "Devil," "Sorry Sorry," and "U," among others.

He then made his goodbyes to his Filipino KYUpiters and ELFs present at the concert.

“With the days that we will meet again, I will be saying my farewell for now,” he ended.
