EXCLUSIVE: Nicole Cordoves: 'My mom is my support system in terms of faith'

Beauty queen and television and events host Nicole Cordoves recently shared a personal moment she considers a miracle in her life, during the launch of Avignon Translucent Vital held last April 10 at Avignon Clinic Alabang.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Nicole reflected on how her faith and family have played vital roles in her spiritual journey. One of the most meaningful experiences for her in recent years was witnessing the spiritual growth of someone very close to her—her mom.

 “I think there are a lot of points in my life that miraculous things happened, and one thing I was grateful for recently talaga was my mom building her relationship with God din,” she shared. “Because I guess we’ve been through so much in our lives na sometimes it’s hard to go back to God, ‘yung ganong feeling. Pero no sin is too great for God to forgive.”

 Nicole went on to express how her mother’s strengthened faith has become a source of support for her. “Now I’m so glad na if my faith is wavering or not as strong as how I want it to be, my mom is my support system in terms of my faith din—na she’s the one who sends me verses or reminds me to pray and go back to God. So that for me is a miracle, kasi parang feeling ko naredeem ni Christ ‘yung people around me,” she said.

 As for her Holy Week plans, Nicole shared that she was flying out of the country for a well-deserved break in time for her 33rd birthday on April 15.

 “I’m gonna go to Europe with my sissy Cat [Catriona Gray] so it’s gonna be a girl’s trip for the both of us,” she said. “And it’s gonna be sakto—my birthday,” she said.
