Jodi Sta. Maria expresses gratitude for awards: ‘This is more than just an award’

Award-winning actress Jodi Sta. Maria shared how grateful she is for bagging two recent awards from Gawad Lasallianeta and Anak TV Seal Awards, respectively. On her Instagram account, the Kapamilya star expressed that the awards she received goes beyond her–– she gave credit to everyone who made it possible for her win.

Jodi bagged the Most Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Lavender Fields and the Makabata Star 2024, respectively.

“This is more than just an award… It's a recognition of the hard work, love, and dedication poured into every project,” she wrote.

The Kapamilya star proudly posed with the awards and shared her photos on her Instagram account. She added that she is grateful for everyone who’s been working with her as she couldn’t have achieved the win without them.

“I thank the Lord for blessing me with work that aligns with my passion. Grateful for the journey, the people I’ve worked with and the stories we continue to tell,” she shared.

Friends and fans of the award-winning actress sent their congratulatory messages in the comment section. Other netizens shared how proud they are of the Kapamilya star who earlier decided that she’ll be going on a hiatus in her acting career.

“Congratulations Ate, I'm super proud of you. You deserve it❤️ love you ate,” a fan added.

It was earlier this year when Jodi revealed that she’ll be focusing on earning a master’s degree in clinical psychology. Despite taking a short break from her acting career, the Kapamilya star has several upcoming films that she has already committed to prior to her announcement. 

 Fans can still catch a glimpse of Jodi as she recently relaunched her YouTube channel, the JSM Channel. The newly updated YouTube channel has three distinct shows–– Live Light, Let’s Drink to That, and Travel with a Heart–– which aims to inspire the viewers.
