LOOK: Maricel Soriano's star-filled 60th birthday party

MANILA -- Screen veteran Maricel Soriano celebrated her 60th birthday with her family, loved ones, and friends from in and out of show business.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Soriano reuploaded photos from her birthday taken by Nice Print Photography. 

"About last night," she captioned her post.

Among the celebrities present at Soriano's party were Vice Ganda, Ice Seguerra, Sylvia Sanchez, Cesar Montano, Janine Gutierrez, Gladys Reyes, and Epy Quizon.

Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Ryza Cenon, Ruby Ruiz, Ciara Sotto, and Lassy were also in attendance, as well as Korina Sanchez, Helen Gamboa, Bong Revilla, Lani Revilla, and ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes.

Soriano, dubbed the country's Diamond Star, has been in the entertainment industry for over five decades. 

Considered one of the best dramatic actresses in local showbiz, she started out as a child star in the 1971 movie "My Heart Belongs To Daddy." Her other films include like "Inday Bote," "Babaeng Hampaslupa," and "Batang Quiapo."

On television, Soriano is known for her role as Shirley Puruntong in  "John en Marsha." She starred in the 2024 ABS-CBN series "Lavender Fields."
