With his two children, Atasha and Andres Muhlach, stepping into show business, Aga Muhlach shared the advice he gave them for navigating the industry.

"Ang [advice] ko sa kanila is trabaho 'yan ha. Kung ano 'yung nakikita niyo sa akin na ngayon ito 'yung end result of hard work, so you have to go through that hard work," he relayed in an interview with MJ Felipe for the TFC show BRGY.

He went on: "When you see all of these parang glamorized life, the good life, lahat 'yan that's all because of hard work, tears, lahat 'yan, so dadaanan niyo 'yan."

The actor also reminded his kids to be kind. "Just always be the kindest person you can be, 'yun lang ang [reminder] ko sa kanila."

He added: "[Sabi ko] huwag kayong mayabang, maging totoong tao kayo, maging tapat kayo at magtrabaho kayo, hanapbuhay 'yan eh."

Aga emphasized that he instilled the value of humility in his children while raising them.

"They grew up that way.... Growing up ganyan na 'yung paghuhulma ko sa kanila na wala kayong karapatan na maging mayabang sa mundong ito, kailangan maging maayos kayo sa tao, maging mabait kayo parati. Ganun lang, so hanggang sa pag-aartista nila, naiintindihan na nila 'yun," he said.

The actor also recalled how his kids grew up in a humble and low-profile life.

"My family is talagang we were quiet, tahimik lang ang buhay namin. We always kept it private as much as we can. The kids grew up that way also, kahit nasa limelight sila or kami, we've always kept it private," he said.

In the same interview, when asked if being in a relationship is not allowed yet for his kids, he replied: "Hindi naman. Parang okay naman."

He admitted: "Meron siyang konting sakit, [pero] ang nagpapaginhawa lang sa akin sa pakiramdam na 'yan is nilalagay ko 'yung sarili ko nung edad na 'yun na 23, 24 yes sabi ko, normal."
