Comedian-actress Ai-Ai delas Alas revealed that she has not spoken with her ex-husband, Gerald Sibayan, since they decided to part ways back in 2024. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, the Kapuso star shared that she refuses to talk to him personally.

Gerald called it quits with Ai-Ai and cited he wanted to have children and how unhappy he was with their marriage.

When asked to describe 2024 for her, the comedian-actress expressed that it was just like a beautiful show–– full of surprises.

“Isa siyang magandang palabas… Una comedic, romantic bigla naging horror tapos namatay yung TV,” she shared.

Ai-Ai maintained that she is doing fine and gets by with the help of her family and closest friends in and out of the showbiz industry. 

Despite this, the Kapuso star admitted that she doesn’t want to have a personal conversation with her ex-husband who’s now living in the US. 

“Of course, ama, no. Hindi. I refuse to. From the time na sinabi nga niya yun sa akin, hindi na ako nakipag communicate sa kanya. Nakikipag communicate ako sa kanya through some people like son-in-law ko at yung ibang tao. Pero ako direkta, no,” she added.

Ai-Ai shared that she learned a lot from her previous marriages and wants to settle her separation with Gerald as quietly as possible. Ai-Ai was previously married to Jed Salang back in 2013 before parting ways a year after. She was also married to Miguel Vera with whom she shares two children.

“Ngayon, hindi naman pala kailangan ang laban kailangan maingay. Pwede naman palang mahinahon lang at tsaka tatanggapin mo and graceful exit… To love myself more at tsaka kailangan sa isang babae kahit durog, intact yung dignity mo,” she said. 

Previously, Ai-Ai shared that she won’t be revoking Gerald’s green card status in the US as it’s her way of helping him to gain legal status in the foreign country.
