Krystal Brimner celebrates 18th birthday: ‘I carry all of these wonderful memories and all the love’

Star Magic actress Krystal Brimner recently celebrated a major milestone, marking her 18th birthday with a heartfelt and intimate gathering. 

Held at Bellevue Manila Hotel in Alabang, the venue was adorned with a red and black theme.

“I’m so so grateful for everyone coming tonight. I’m sorry if it was so traffic but thank you so much for pushing through and pulling through and coming today. It means so so much to me,” Krystal said, greeting her attendees.


Several celebrities attended Krystal’s birthday celebration including Anji Salvacion, Shanaia Gomez, Jordan Andrews, seasoned actor Michael De Mesa, Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi as well as Edward Barber who served as the event host.

Michel De Mesa, who is also Krystal's godfather, shared an emotional message on Instagram, reminiscing about their past together.

“Where did the time go, my dear @krystalabrimner? It feels like just yesterday you were playing Annie, and I had the privilege of being your Daddy Warbucks. Your Ninang and I are so proud of the incredible young lady you’ve blossomed into,” Michael wrote.

 He added: “In just 18 years, you’ve already achieved so much, and we know this is only the beginning. The sky is truly the limit, and we’re so excited to see all the amazing things the future has in store for you. Always remember, we’re here cheering you on every step of the way. Happy 18th birthday! ❤️❤️❤️.” 


 During the celebration, Krystal wowed her guests with a special performance, showcasing her singing and dancing skills. She also enjoyed exciting moments with her family and friends, who answered fun facts about her.

“I’m truly so grateful for each and every person in this room.Thank you so much for making this evening unforgettable. Ever since I was a little kid, I was always so excited for this day to come. It was everything that I imagined and more. I’m so grateful for your love and support and all the effort that you poured in celebrating this special milestone in my life,” Krystal said.

As she embraces this new chapter in her life, Krystal expressed her appreciation for the guidance and support of those around her. 

“As I stepped into this new chapter in my life, I carry all of these wonderful memories and all the love you've shown me. Again, thank you so much for being a part of this milestone in my life. I know that turning 18 comes with a lot of responsibilities but I know that each and every single person in this room will help me and guide me and you guys will always be there for me,” she said.


Her father, George, shared words of pride, saying, “ I just want you to keep it up. You’re doing really well. Everything that you tried, you always excel. I wish you all the best and success in your future. From the bottom of my heart, you will always be my baby." 

Her mom, Marilyn, also expressed her love, saying, “We love you beyond measure. We are so proud of everything that you are and everything you’re going to be… My Tala, you have the ability to create music to call your own. You are a shining light, my Tala. To see you happy and smiling is the greatest gift.


Krystal gained attention for her role in Annie and won the Best Child Actor award at the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in Honor Thy Father. She later became part of the second season of Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids and is currently featured on the Kapamilya variety show ASAP Natin 'To.

“I was already starting to doubt myself and my career. I felt like, ‘Ay, ito na, wala na, wala na akong projects and people will forget about me,’” Krystal said in a previous interview with ABS-CBN News.

“I was glad that my family was there to keep pushing me to keep going because I know my success won’t be overnight. It will have to be years before I even get to where I want to be. I’m really glad that I have a great support system,” she added.

Krystal also released her debut album in 2022 and starred in theater plays including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Silver Lining Redux in 2024.
