MANILA — Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s first legacy ball was a big success and the beauty queen-turned singer had nothing but gratefulness and appreciation to all her partners, friends and fans who donated for the sole beneficiary of the ball - Young Focus Philippines. 

Even before winning Miss Universe in 2018, Gray has been extending helping to Young Focus Philippines.

“I’m just really grateful ‘coz everyone here is showing support for Young Focus and seeing so many people donating, has been so fulfilling, so gratifying. And to think that this has been a long journey and it’s still continuing to grow, I’m kilig. So rewarding," she said. 

Gray said there’s no specific amount or target amount of donations to be reached but up to the night of the ball, she has been receiving donations and pledges from different people and partners. 

“Hopefully, it’s a substantial amount but I wanna say thank you to all our media parents to amplify our help for Young Focus," she stressed.

Adding color to the event were Catriona’s colleagues from Cornerstone Entertainment - Piolo Pascual, Richard Poon, Radha, Markki Stroem and John Prats, who directed the event.

Gray added that she hopes this could be an annual event so that it would doors for more beneficiaries in the future aside from Young Focus Philippines.
