MANILA — Former Magic 89.9 DJs Mohan Gumatay and Angelika Schmeing, also known as DJ Mo and Angelicopter, have parted ways, the former has confirmed. 

DJ Mo first revealed the news in June, noting that they discussed their separation during their wedding anniversary.

"I got dumped on our third year wedding anniversary ...I don't think she knew it was our wedding anniversary ...that sucks for me," DJ Mo said.

"I had a sh**ty week, it was our wedding anniversary, Fathers' Day two days later, didn't see my kids, my son's birthday... didn't see him. I mean, it's just an avalanche of b*llsh*t," he added.

He gave additional details about the breakup in early July, noting that Angelicopter said that there is"no chance" of them getting back together.

"Yes, absolutely that happened. That actual conversation happened on our anniversary. I know she said otherwise but that's absolutely the date it happened," he said.

"She said no chance for reconciliation on her side ...Sometimes I always feel it's a little self-centered to say there's no chance we're getting back together. Well, both of us have to agree to that," he added.

DJ Mo also denied third party allegations involving someone from his team in his podcast.

"I've never even met (her) in my life and honestly as awesome as she is on the show, I don't think I could spend more than an hour with Mara anyway," he said. 

Pressed on the root cause of their breakup, DJ Mo said: "I think both of us have screwed up in varying degrees early on ... We didn't start right, we were on different relationships ... it's ugly and I don't wanna talk about it."

They have a daughter together. Angelika has an older son whom DJ Mo has considered his own.
