MANILA — Members of nation's girl group BINI donned masks and big hoodies, in an apparent nod to the signature getup of the world-famous JABBAWOCKEEZ dance crew, as they headed to General Santos City on Friday for their "BINIverse" concert.

Fans dubbed the getup as the "biggest clapback", saying it was a creative response to the recent criticism that hounded BINI after the group wore face masks and shades during their arrival at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Sunday.

Some critics had called the airport outfits "OA".

But on a so-called "BINI Karma Day", fans of the girl group rejected the "incomprehensible" hate that the Pinoy act was getting.

Even the group's staff members, friends and other fellow artists like Filipino hitmaker Maki, posted "satirical entries" on their social media accounts while wearing shades and masks.

BINI members also commented on their outfits on X, the former Twitter, quoting some of the criticism they got on their airport getups.

"Mga feeling dancer sino ba mga 'yan?," BINI Stacey tweeted.

"Luh OA," BINI Sheena added.

BINI Maloi posted a screenshot of another comment saying, "Sino ba mga 'yan?"

On Facebook, BINI Aiah wrote a message regarding their getup.

"It's too late to apologize," she said.

BINI's show in General Santos City is set tomorrow, July 20. It is the last leg of the regional tour.
