MANILA -- Actress Kim Chiu expressed her gratitude for receiving a nomination as Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series in the ContentAsia Awards 2024.

She bagged the nomination for her powerful performance in the hit drama series "Linlang."  

In her Instagram Stories post, Chiu thanked Dreamscape Entertainment and its former head, the late Deo Endrinal.

"Thank you @dreamscapeph fam. Thank you to my entire #Linlang family. And lastly, forever thank you, Sir Deo. Thank you! Being nominated alongside with other stars from different countries makes me a winner already. Hala! Bakit nakakaiyak 'to!" she wrote.

Chiu is up against Anne Thongprasom (Thailand), Chantalle Ng (Singapore), Charmaine Sheh (Hong Kong), Lusi Zhao (China) and Ranee (Bella) Campen (Thailand).

Chiu's nomination is one of the six nods that ABS-CBN received from the ContentAsia Awards 2024.

Star Cinema's "A Very Good Girl" which starred Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly de Leon, was nominated for Best Asian Feature Film/Telemovie along with the 2024 MMFF Best Picture winner "Firefly."

Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde was nominated for Best Male Lead in a TV Programme for his role as Anton dela Rosa in “Cattleya Killer” along with Dingdong Dantes in "Royal Blood."

Kaila Estrada was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Programme/Series category for "Linlang."

Youth-oriented show "Zoomers" got nominated for Best Asian Short-form drama/series, while queer dating show "Sparks Camp" got a nod for Best Original Reality and/or Competition Programme.

The winners will be announced in the awarding ceremony on September 5 during the 2024 Trendy Taipei music, arts, and innovation festival.
