Will Joy and Ethan meet in Canada?



After their recent Hong Kong trip, blockbuster movie director Cathy Garcia-Sampana arrived in Calgary, Canada together with the team behind 2019 blockbuster movie "Hello, Love Goodbye."

According to a social media post by former Star Cinema staff Anilyn Tuco, Garcia visited her in Calgary, Canada together with Star Cinema creative head Carmi Raymundo and Star Cinema line producer John Leo Garcia.

"My visitors from Philippines Direk Cathy Garcia Molina and Direk Carmi Raymundo with Leo from Star Cinema. Thank you guys for the short visit in my home sweet home," Tuco captioned the post.

Garcia was the director of the 2019 blockbuster movie "Hello, Love Goodbye" starring by Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo. The movie is one of the highest-earning Filipino films of all time.

In the movie, Bernardo plays Joy, a Filipino domestic worker in Hong Kong where she meets Richards' character Ethan, a Filipino Hong Kong resident. The two fall in love even as Joy wants to pursue her dream of moving in Canada.
