Korean entertainment news portal Soompi reported Monday that both actors' agencies confirmed their relationship, saying in a joint statement that the two "initially started... as colleagues and are now getting to know each other with positive feelings."

The confirmation came after a video surfaced online, showing the two being affectionate to each other while walking in public.

Lee and Ryu both played supporting roles in last year's "Crash Course in Romance," led by Jeon Do-yeon and Jung Kyung-ho.

Lee currently hosts the weekly music show "Music Bank," while Ryu recently starred in the thriller series "Pyramid Game."
