MANILA -- Korean singer and actor Kim Myung-soo, known by his stage name “L,” arrived in the Philippines to sign with Universal Records, which will release his upcoming music locally. 

He will also sign with GLXY Entertainment, which will manage his other projects in the Philippines.

L, known for his smooth vocals and impressive acting skills, first rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the K-pop group INFINITE and its sub-unit INFINITE F. 

His debut solo album, "Memory," released in 2021, marked a significant step in his career, which has continued to grow with his recent EP "24/7" — a huge success that sold over 45,000 copies within its first week.

Aside from his accomplishments in music, Kim has also left a mark in acting. He debuted in the Japanese drama "Jiu" in 2011 and has since captivated audiences with his emotional depth in various hit dramas. 

His unique stage name, “L,” is a nod to his smooth moves and vocal style, which reminded fans of the character “L” from "Death Note."

L will be in the Philippines until November 14 and will participate in the official contract signing, photo shoots, and other events.
