Local celebrities gathered for a cause on Friday as ABS-CBN held an online donation drive to help those who have been affected by the onslaught of severe tropical storm Kristine in the Philippines.

Leading the pack is the nation's girl group BINI, who announced a P1-million donation from their concert during the fundraiser.

The event, titled "Tulong-tulong Hanggang Dulo," was streamed live on the YouTube and Facebook pages of ABS-CBN News and ABS-CBN Entertainment.

"Ang halagang ito ay maging panimula po sana ng mga donasyon sa ABS-CBN Foundation," said BINI's leader, Jhoanna Robles.

"Magtulungan po tayo para makatulong sa mga kababayan," she added.

In a little over two hours, "Tulong-tulong Hanggang Dulo" was able to raise over P3 million based on partial data from e-wallet partners.

The livestream, which kicked off at 3 p.m., featured performances by Nyoy Volante, Jed Madela, Jona, Drei Sugay, AC Bonifacio, Khimo, Jeremy G, Fana, Vina Morales, Jamie Rivera, Kice, KD Estrada, and Rob Blackburn.

For their part, Anne Curtis, Donny Pangilinan, Kaila Estrada, Anji Salvacion, Amy Perez, Alyanna Angeles, "Pinoy Big Brother" season 11 housemates, BGYO, and Gela Atayde used their star power to encourage audiences to share cash and in-kind donations to ABS-CBN Foundation, which is helping in relief operations in coordination with local government units.

Also part of the online donation drive were ABS-CBN News reporters, who gave live updates from areas affected by the calamity.
