It's always tricky when you unexpectedly bump into an ex.

But at least Vice Ganda had his friends to narrow down the possible scenarios by stopping him from talking with his former flame.

He shared the cute story in an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Friday, saying that Marco Gumabao and Patrick Sugui convinced him to avoid his ex at any cost.

"Inangasan nilang dalawa," he said. "Ang hirap din kasi kapag may mga barkada kang lalaki, ang higpit-higpit nila."

"Feeling [talaga nila na] ako iyong kapatid nilang virgin na bunso na pinapangalagaan nila, na hindi puwedeng mapariwara kung hindi ay magkakagulo ang mundo," he added.

It was last weekend when Gumabao and Sugui first put to light the story of Vice Ganda and his ex when they guested on "Gandang Gabi Vice." Both explained that they were just trying to protect his "feelings."

Neither of them, however, revealed the name of the ex.

Vice Ganda was on the late-night talk show to promote his upcoming movie, "Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad," an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.

Directed by Joyce Bernal, the superhero comedy flick will also star Daniel Padilla and Pia Wurtzbach.
