MANILA -- "It's Showtime" host Karylle suddenly turned emotional on Wednesday while remembering her nanny whom she considers as her guardian angel.

During the gift-giving segment of the noontime show, Karylle recalled how her Nanay Rose took care of her.

"Palagi kong iniisip na kahit mahirap pala ang buhay, si Lord will shower your path with angels and she is the biggest one," Karylle said.

Nanay Rose has been Karylle's nanny since she was four. And although she was a bit strict, the TV host-singer said Nanay Rose was loving and caring.
