MANILA — Instead of a traditional slow dance, actor-host Vhong Navarro and his now-wife, writer Tanya Bautista, opted for an energetic number at their wedding reception Thursday in Kyoto, Japan.

For their first dance as a married couple, the two showed their moves to the tune of “Chicken Noodle Soup,” the popular hip-hop track.

The video of the moment was shared on Instagram by Kim Atienza, one of Navarro’s co-hosts on “It’s Showtime.”

Atienza also showed a glimpse of his table at the reception. He was grouped with Navarro’s closest showbiz colleagues, including Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia, Angel Locsin, Ion Perez, and Ryan Bang.

Also with them were Curtis’ husband, restaurateur Erwan Heussaff, and Locsin’s fiancé, film producer Neil Arce.

Navarro and Bautista, who have kept their relationship low-profile despite the former’s celebrity status, tied the knot after more than a decade of being together.
