MANILA – Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres is happy to be reunited with veteran performer Gary Valenciano and his wife Angeli in Venice, California.

The Puerto Rican beauty queen gave her Instagram followers a glimpse of her dinner with the Filipino celebrity couple.

“Dinner with good friends,” she wrote.

Torres visited the Philippines in 1994 to crown her successor in the Miss Universe pageant. She went on to become a celebrity in the country, starring in movies with Aga Muhlach and Cesar Montano, among others.

She is one of the original hosts and performers of the ABS-CBN variety show “ASAP” along with Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez and Ariel Rivera, and was once dubbed as the Philippines’ “Dancing Queen.”

Last August, Torres expressed her excitement over the staging of the next Miss Universe pageant in the Philippines.
