She revealed that she has no plans to retire from politics unless her constituents lose faith in her.

But when that time comes and Vilma Santos decides to return to showbiz, she shared that she would love do projects with young leading men such as Daniel Padilla, Joshua Garcia, and James Reid.

"It would be the newcomers," the movie star turned politician replied when asked about the actors she would like to work with. "At least mayroon kang mga senior at mga new blood."

She also revealed that her dream role currently is to play a Muslim character, and that she suggested to have Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Barretto play her if ever her biopic would be produced.

Right now though, Santos reiterated, her showbiz career is only third among her priorities, behind her family and being a public servant.

She did admit that she misses the spotlight, but unless her supporters stop believing in her programs as a politician, then it will be a while before she steps down from office.

"Kapag naramdaman ko na hindi na pinaniniwalaan sa mga gusto kong gawin at nakikita kong hindi na nila ako handang suportahan bilang isang leader," she explained.
