MANILA -- Jay R and his girlfriend Mica Javier are now engaged to be married.

The R&B singer made the announcement on his Instagram page Sunday, where he posted a photo of him and Javier wearing an engagement ring.

"Meet my fiancé," he wrote in the caption.

Jay R's friend, Kris Lawrence, and his "Your Face Sounds Familiar" family also posted photos and videos of the proposal.

In 2017, Jay R said he was in no rush to marry Javier, as she was just on her way to stardom at that time.

They have been together for more than five years.
