MANILA – Nikki Gil is pregnant.

The confirmation came from the singer-actress herself after she posted on Saturday two photos of her clearly showing off her baby bump.

In the pictures, Gil can be seen with her husband, businessman BJ Albert, and good friends Patty Laurel and Patrick Filart.

It was in May when rumors about Gil’s pregnancy first surfaced.

At that time, she and Albert attended a wedding together and her photos seem to suggest that she had a baby bump. Gil, however, never spoke about it.

Gil married Albert in a garden ceremony in November 2015 at the Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club in Laguna.

The couple first met as schoolmates at the Ateneo de Manila University. They were never formally introduced until a common friend set them up for a date in late 2013. The two got engaged 13 months later.
