The husband of actress Azenith Briones was one of the 38 people found dead after a gunman attacked Resorts World Manila Friday night.

Eleuterio Reyes, the 59-year-old partner of Briones, was included in the list of fatalities released by the casino's management. His death was confirmed by Briones' aunt, according to a report by DZMM's Zandro Ochona.

Briones, who was part of the cast of "Temptation Island," and her husband was at the casino complex when the attack happened. She said she was forced to jump from the second floor as she fled the casino, where the unidentified suspect deliberately set on fire gambling tables.

Briones sustained injuries while escaping.

According to a report from Ochona, Briones' family is waiting at Rizal Funeral Homes in Pasay City for the remains of Reyes.

The suspect reportedly brought gasoline in a two-liter softdrink bottle, which he then used to set fire to casino tables inside the complex, a police official said Friday.

National Capital Region Police Office chief Director Oscar Albayalde said the unidentified gunmen parked his car inside Resorts World and then went straight inside the casino, carrying a long firearm, ammunition and a bottle of gasoline.-- with a report from ABS-CBN News' Carolyn Bonquin
