Like with most of his songs, Jason Mraz wants listeners to see the beauty in falling in love.

But with his new song, which was released this Friday, Mraz also wants people to hear the beauty in this Filipina's voice.

A self-confessed fan of Pinay singer Reneé Dominique, Mraz said that it was an "honor" to lend his vocals to "Could I Love You Any More," available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes.

The heartfelt acoustic track, about "a man and a woman realizing the magic of love," was a result of a collaboration Mraz proposed with Dominique after hearing her cover of "Somewhere Only We Know" featured in a smartphone commercial.

"We actually never met during the process," Mraz said of how they made the song through the Internet.

"It's as if we were sending messages in a bottle across the sea, working in different time zones between different schedules to make this dream collaboration become a reality."

"Though we had never met, I feel like I knew Reneé simply through the quality of her voice. I was drawn to her tone and vocal attitude and through the process of co-writing the song, felt drawn to harmonize and appear on the track."

"It's an honor to be featured. But I’m here because I'm a fan."

They first debuted the song during Mraz's concert in Manila earlier this month.
