MANILA -- Bea Alonzo is on a roll.

Following the Star Cinema movie “Kasal,” which is currently showing in over 200 theaters nationwide, Alonzo will start working on another big-screen project with an actor she’s been hoping to share a scene with for the longest time.

“Pupunta po ako sa Vancouver to do a movie with Aga Muhlach. Si Direk Paul Soriano 'yung director ko. I will be working with them for the first time so, of course, I am very excited,” she told ABS-CBN News on Thursday.

Alonzo said she’s very excited to work with Muhlach because she’s seen most of his previous works.

“Matagal ko na pangarap. Finally, magkakaroon ako ng pagkakataon. Ang dami kong pelikula niya na napanood. In every movie, iba ang binibigay niya so excited ako makita kung ano ang ibibigay niya this time,” she said.

Alonzo, however, refused to give more details about what their movie will be about.

“Drama pa rin siya but it’s a different type of film. I can’t really share yet. I don’t know kung hanggang saan ang kaya kong i-share because medyo iba rin 'yung plot niya. I don’t know if itatago pa nila,” she said.

Nonetheless, the actress said they will have their first script reading on Friday.

Aside from “Kasal” and her upcoming film with Muhlach, Alonzo is also one of the lead stars of the Mikhail Red mystery-thriller “Eerie.”
