Nearly four months after Cristine Reyes made public her prayers for her marriage with Ali Khatibi, with whom she has a child, the two are now rumored to have separated -- a topic that came up in a Monday interview with the actress' sister, Ara Mina.

Mina, 38, was among the cast members of the new ABS-CBN drama "Araw Gabi" who were introduced at a press conference, alongside the leads JM de Guzman and Barbie Imperial.

"Nag-post lang ata siya ng pray for me, tapos nag-haka-haka na sila doon," Mina said, when asked if there are truth to rumors that Reyes and Khatibi are no longer together.

"Normal lang naman sa mga mag-asawa ang may hindi pagkaka-intindihan. Hindi naman siguro away -- indifferences [sic]," she added.

Reyes and Khatibi have yet to address this new round speculation -- the actress last denied her marriage was on the rocks in late March -- but eagle-eyed followers of the couple on social media noted how the two have not been posting photos of each other lately.

Reyes's most recent post with Khatibi was on February 15.

In answering questions about the couple, Mina pointed out that she has not directly asked her younger sister as to her status with Khatibi, but said, by her observation, Reyes does not seem to have gone through a rough patch.

"She's okay naman, madalas kami magkasama," she said. "Hindi siya nagsasabi, very strong pa rin siya, at alam naman niya na anytime na she needs me, nandito lang ako."
