MANILA – It has been exactly 15 years since matinee idol Rico Yan passed away.

Yan was at the peak of his career when he died of cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis on March 29, 2002.

His former girlfriend and on-screen partner, Claudine Barretto, previously admitted that Yan’s death is her “yearly nightmare.”

Yan starred in a number of ABS-CBN shows such as “Mula sa Puso,” “FLAMES,” “Saan Ka Man Naroroon,” and Star Cinema films like “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay,” “Ama, Ina, Anak” and “Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita.”

Let us all remember Yan’s blossoming showbiz career through this music video for “Got to Believe,” his last movie, which also starred Barretto.
