The acts from the Philippines turned out to be the standouts from the second batch of semifinalists, as fans saw on Thursday's episode of "Asia's Got Talent."

Junior Good Vibes, from Sampaloc, Manila, were sent straight to to the grand finals by the judges, while 10-year-old singer Eleana Gabunada got a standing ovation for her cover of "Defying Gravity."

"There's two parts of being a singer/actor --one is the singing which you nailed. But the other is believing you. And when you sing that song, I believe you and that's really important," David Foster said.

"If you hang on to that, you're going to be a Broadway star."

The other judges echoed this praise for Gabunada's rendition of the "Wicked" favorite, with Indonesian star Anggun pointing out the "glorious" last high note she hit.

Gabunada is part of the second batch of finalists. Other than Junior Good Vibes, the remaining acts are waiting to see which of them get the top two highest number of votes and places in the grand finals.
