MANILA - Seven years since they starred in a Star Cinema movie together, Mario Maurer and Erich Gonzales reunited for a sit-down interview facilitated by the Kapamilya actress.

The video was uploaded on her YouTube page, and was taken during her recent trip to Thailand where Maurer is based.

Among the many things they talked about was how much they loved working with each other, recalling their days in Ilocos when they were still filming “Suddenly It’s Magic.”

Maurer said he misses the Philippines so much and he’d love to come back someday.

“I want to go back but my tour guide from the Philippines never brings me there. You are [my tour guide], Erich,” he said.

To which, Gonzales replied: “I was gonna bring him to Amanpulo. I’ve never been there. Let’s just go there together with our friends, family. I love your mom, she’s the best.”

The two also talked about Maurer’s new projects in Thailand, including a primetime series where he plays a doctor, and a new movie.

To cap the interview, Maurer lost to Gonzales in a game that required him to dance in front of the camera.
