MANILA -- Eric "Eruption" Tai and his wife Rona have welcomed their first child together.

The former "It's Showtime" host proudly took to his Instagram on Wednesday to share the happy news, with a touching photo of him and his partner posing with their newborn, Legend.

"Our first family photo," he gushed in the accompanying caption.

Legend, who was conceived through in vitro fertilization, was born on Tuesday, a day before Tai and Rona's fourth wedding anniversary.

"The greatest wedding gift we could ever imagine or receive," Tai said of their son. "A Legend, a survivor, an IVF baby, a son to us and a son of our Father in Heaven."

"The whole journey itself is a miracle and testament of a living God who we will humbly and forever be indebted to," he added.

Days earlier, Tai was actively updating his fans about how excited they were in welcoming their son, quipping that only thing that could calm him down was playing a mobile game.

He shared a short video of Rona telling him jokingly to drop the game for a bit and stay at her side as she gave birth.
