It's always a shame when a relationship falls apart.

And yet, when it does, it's comforting to know that people rarely come out of it without one or two lessons to help us move forward.

This was very much the case with Roxanne Barcelo, who opened up a little about her breakup with her boyfriend of 4 years, Will Devaughn, in an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda."

She maintained her stance of not detailing the reason behind the split, but she said that she's grateful to Devaughn for teaching her "to never worry."

"I learned that from him," the "Wildflower" star said.

Barcelo first confirmed that she and Devaughn have parted ways at a press conference held for the coming finale of her series.

She explained that one of the reasons was that they felt they "needed to grow, independently and individually."

She also said that she remains friends with her ex, whom she appeared with in the movie "I Found My Heart in Santa Fe," shown just last year.
