A simple “Tatay’s Boy ng Batangas” was all we knew from Joshua Garcia when he joined Pinoy Big Brother All In back in 2014. His dream was simply to finish his studies—a promise he made to his father, who had reunited with him after several years apart. Now, he’s achieving much more than he expected with his blossoming career and the support from thousands of beloved fans.

As he’s helping bring true stories to life, he is tasked with more than developing a character.

Now, Joshua is set to add action stunts under his belt of talents with his upcoming role in the ABS-CBN series Mars Ravelo’s Darna. He’ll be playing Brian Robles, a police officer that crosses paths with Narda (Jane de Leon). It’s hinted that he’ll be caught in a complicated love triangle between Narda and Regina (played by Janella Salvador). Because of this, jealousy would consume Regina, further fueling her wrath as the snake-haired woman Valentina. How will Brian rise from all of this?
