After it’s successful run last month, Big Bad Wolf Philippines is back and will be here to stay until June 26! And while the book fair’s message remains the same–celebrate the love for reading and share the transformative power of books, it has been made more accessible, having been set up at the Glorietta and Palm Drive Activity Centers.

In addition, the partnership between Big Bad Wolf Philippines and Glorietta highlights Ayala Mall’s broader advocacy, “BookLat: Open. Imagine. Discover.,” which focuses on reading, leisure, and entertainment by providing avenues for recreation and experiential learning.

Being one of those avenues, the book fair gathers millions of books from various genres (history, general literature, children, self-help, and crime and mystery to name a few) that are up for sale at discounted prices (range is from P20 to P4,590; the books are assigned letters that have corresponding prices)! Aside from books to discover, you’ll be able to meet little librarians, who are there to assist you and offer a boost of cute energy (a reminder to see the world through the eyes of a child every now and then) while shopping.

More than just a shopping experience, the book fair also has immersive activities that range from stamping and recycled doll kit stations to jamming out in the music corner. Finally, the book fair is also an open invitation to participate in “Beyond Books” – a donation drive that encourages customers to share a book for every purchase. The project aims to collect 20,000 books for kindergarten to third grade students in public schools within Ayala Land Estates and Ayala Malls communities. As a matter of fact, Glorietta and Big Bad Wolf have already pledged 1,000 books each!

So, hurry to the extended run of Big Bad Wolf Philippines in Glorietta (they’re open from 10am to 10pm) and add titles to your shelves! Having been to the book fair twice already, here are some quick tips: Bring your own tote bag, be sure to register in advance to save time when checking out, and note the mode of payments (cash, card, and e-wallets). Looking forward to seeing your book hauls!
